At Whisply, we believe in being open about how our product is promoted and how the people who recommend it are compensated. This Marketing Disclosure explains our affiliate program, how referral links work, and the standards we hold ourselves and our partners to when talking about our Mac app.

Our affiliate program

Whisply operates an affiliate program that lets creators, reviewers, and everyday users share the product they enjoy and earn a reward for doing so. Anyone accepted into the program agrees to our affiliate terms, which require honest, accurate representations of what Whisply does. We do not authorize affiliates to make exaggerated claims or to guarantee specific outcomes on our behalf.

How affiliates earn commission

Affiliates are issued a unique referral link. When someone clicks that link and later subscribes to a paid Whisply plan, the affiliate may earn a recurring commission for as long as that referred customer maintains an active subscription. The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you arrive through a referral link, commissions are paid by Whisply out of our own revenue and never added to your cost.

Links on third-party sites

You may encounter Whisply on blogs, YouTube videos, newsletters, social media, and review sites. Some of the links pointing to whisply.net on those third-party properties may be affiliate links, meaning the author could earn a commission if you subscribe. We encourage every partner to label these relationships clearly, but we do not control third-party websites and cannot guarantee how each one presents its links. When in doubt, assume an outbound link to our site could be an affiliate link.

Testimonials and reviews

Testimonials, ratings, and reviews you see represent the individual experience of the person sharing them. Whisply is a Mac-only product, and results vary based on each person’s hardware, workflow, and how they use the app. An opinion shared by one user is not a promise of the same experience for everyone, and a single testimonial should not be read as a typical or guaranteed result.

Transparency statement

In keeping with guidance from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, we ask anyone who promotes Whisply for compensation to disclose that relationship in a clear and conspicuous way. We aim to hold our own marketing to the same standard, our goal is for you to always understand when a recommendation is financially motivated so you can make an informed decision.
