Cancellation Policy

Whisply subscriptions are designed to stay flexible. You’re free to cancel whenever you like, with no hidden steps, retention hurdles, or cancellation fees. This policy explains exactly how to cancel, what happens to your access afterward, and how we handle the remainder of your billing period.
How to cancel
You can cancel your Whisply subscription at any time through either of the following methods:
- From your account page. Sign in at your account, open the Subscription section, and select Cancel subscription. Your cancellation takes effect immediately and you’ll receive a confirmation by email.
- From the Stripe customer portal. We use Stripe to process payments securely. From your account page you can open the Stripe customer portal, where you can manage your plan, update your payment method, download invoices, and cancel your subscription.
Cancellation is self-service and instant — you do not need to contact us or wait for approval. If you have any trouble locating the option, reach out and we’ll be glad to help.
Access continues until the end of your billing period
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. You keep full access to every Whisply feature on your Mac until that date arrives. After the current period ends, your subscription will not renew, and your plan will lapse to the free tier or close entirely, depending on your account.
This means there’s no need to cancel at a specific moment to “use up” the time you’ve paid for — canceling early simply turns off the next renewal while leaving your remaining days intact.
No partial-period charges after cancellation
Once you cancel, you will not be charged again. We do not issue prorated or partial-period charges, and you won’t see any further billing for the canceled subscription. The price you already paid covers the full current period, and no additional amounts are owed.
If your payment method shows a charge after you’ve canceled, it’s almost always a previously scheduled renewal that completed just before cancellation took effect. In that case, please contact us and we’ll review your account.
Refunds
Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current period. If you believe you’re entitled to a refund, please review our Refund Policy, which explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
